Waitakere Christmas Festival Trust Concert at Parrs Park on 1st December 2007

Henderson RDA was fortunate enough to be invited to be the official charity of the 6th concert organised by the Waitakere Christmas Festival Trust. The Trust are to be congratulated on a superb concert, well attended by the local population, and showing a huge array of local talent. These kids all had to audition in the middle of the year and those selected had obviously been practising ever since. Shane Cortese was the host and the format of having groups of about 8 acts introduced together and then running seamlessly after each other worked extremely well.

Chris was accompanied up on stage with George Bronlund, one of mondays riders, to give a brief introduction of who we were and what we did. The group then disappeared into the audience with their collecting buckets and we were amazed to reap over $1000.

We are most grateful to the Trust for inviting us to be part of the event - and it was great fun too!
